The 9 Masses will be celebrated as follows:
Friday, 22 November: 9.30am.
Saturday, 23 November: 7.30pm.
Sunday, 24 November: 10.00am.
Monday, 25 November – Thursday, 28 November: 9.30am.
Friday, 29 November: 7.30pm. – Mass of Remembrance
Saturday, 30 November: 7.30pm.
At the 7.30pm Mass on Friday, 29 November, the names of those whose funerals and/or burials took place in St. Mary’s Parish in the past year, that is, 1st November 2023 – 31st October 2024 will be read out.
Please note that we may not have contact details for relatives of all of those. If not contacted, please contact the parish office and give the required details. Also, at that Mass, names of people, including parishioners whose funerals took place elsewhere in the past year, that is 1st November 2023 – 31st October 2024, will be read out. As always, we rely on you to give the names to the parish office of relatives or friends whose funerals took place elsewhere during the past year.
On that night (Friday 29th November), a candle with the name of the deceased on it will be lighted for each one of them. After that Mass on 29th November each family is invited to take home the candle in remembrance of their loved one.
